Today and Yesterday.

Yesterday, I took the tram to the city after the orientation to meet up with parents as usual. I arrived first because they were watching a stage show 'Jersey Boys'. While I was waiting, I saw this interesting painter on the street.

Finally!! We were able to buy the roche ice cream this time. We chose 3 flavours as it was cheaper that way. I chose Honey Comb Chrunch (top), Tiramisu (middle), and Roche (bottom). Of course save the best for last. hehe... Mom chose Strawberry (top), Roche (middle), and Durian (bottom).

Then, we went to seach an Italian restaurant in Ligon Street. Bum into a man who blocked our road and promote his restaurant. He talked a lot. Because Ligon Street is famous for the Italian restaurants, so it's very competitive there. That's why they need people like this to 'pull' customers. Anyway, we sat down since it has free wine for each main course. The name of the restaurant is La Spaghetteria.

We ordered Fettucinne Carbonara and Mushroom Steak. We waited for quite long for the food. The carbonara was very creamy. I add powdered cheese to make it even more delicious whereas mom and dad said it's smelly. This was my most filling dinner.

This afternoon, mom and dad came to uni. So we took a few pictures of the uni. Actually there were other nicer sceneries in the uni but it's just too big, too far and too lazy to walk. There even had a moat. So we only took a few on our way out.

This is the building where my classes and labs are. The R.L Reid Building. I only know how to go in through second floor and I'll get confused if I go in through first floor. Weird la this maze.

We went to Chinatown in the city for dinner again. Mom wanted to go back to the restaurant where we ate the pork belly. The food was quite nice and the price was cheaper compare to other chinese restaurants. This time, we ordered 2 dishes of meat. 'tong chou siu pai kuat' and I don't know what's the name of the beef. The beef was very tender and I liked the 'pai kuat'. I only remembered the cantonese name because dad asked me to translate it for quite a few times.
I think mom fell in love with this restaurant until she went and get the namecard.@@
