Settling In

Finally I'm done with my accomodation problem. It has been disturbing me since 2 weeks ago and with all the reports stacking on my shoulders at the same time, I was frustrated with Poppy's news asking me to move out earlier. Well, in the end, it turned out to be a good news to me, if not I wouldn't have found out this new place and move into bloody expensive on-campus accomodation.

The landlord is an Australian and Italian mixed. Glad that he volunteered to help me with my moving. The moving part wasn't that hard and took less than an hour to shift everything. The most tiring part was the packing. Took me hours to stuff everything into the luggages and bags and hours to unload the things. Now I have problem finding those miscellaneous things.

This is the house. There is actually a lower fence (not in the picture) further out.
Entrance.

There is a notice board at the entrance with all the bills and letters and guest list.

They have a gardener to maintain the backyard. The grass is short and tidy and no weeds.

There are flowers in the garden.
Don't know what tree is this.
The kitchen. Small and simple.
Look!! I actually get such a big cupboard! It's super big compare to the 2 drawers in the previous place. Now I don't have to worry about spilling. I had to lie them horizontally last time and the oil and half of the thick soya sauce spilled inside the drawer. @@
My room. Although the room is slightly smaller, but it comes with bigger furnitures. It's super warm and comfortable in the room. No wonder they dry their clothes in the room. Can just wear like how I used to wear back home in Malaysia. I don't even need the blackets but don't know where to keep it.
Bigger desk. No need to put textbooks and notebooks on the floor anymore. =)
Bigger wardrobe. Now can chuck more rubbish in. Lol. Just bought some kitchen utensils from Coles. Non stick pan $12.99, knife $8.99, slotted turner 6.99 and that pot (don't know what is it called) $13.99. This was my first time buying all these stuffs, so not sure whether the prices were resonable or not. Suddenly feel like a si lai. @@"

Got this comfy clearance pillow from Target. Cost $10.Forgotten to take a picture of the bathroom. The bathroom is small, so it gets warm easily when the heater is on especially in the morning. I even sweat inside. The best thing is that I can take my bath without shivering. Hehe.

There 6 of us in this house. 1 aussie, 2 indians, 1 taiwanese and 1 singaporean. Again, I'm the youngest in the house. It's my third day living here and I kinda like it. It's alot nicer than Poppy's house. The most important thing is, no more annoying screaming kids running around in the evening. Yay!! Can study and nap in peace!

So many pitctures in this post. Okay, here is the picture of the week. My frog!! It's a female. Poor girl!! T.T
