Crimson Spring

Miss Zhi Ying invited me to watch a chinese musical named Crimson Spring in Melb uni. Since I've got nothing to do on a Friday night besides going to FOCUS, so I've decided to make another trip to this beautiful and historical uni. =)

The first thing that came to my mind when miss Zhi Ying said the word "chinese musical" was something like this..
but when the sport light was turned on, the above picture turned into this..LOL... I never thought that it's a musical STAGE show. Anyway, I like watching stage show too. The story was about the dancers and the singers in a pub named Crimson Spring. It's something like the HK series "Glittering Days". The actress wore glittering dresses with "chicken fur" scarfs and sexy stokings. I liked a character named Mo Gu (mushroom). She's the hottest among all the girls. xD Sorry for the blur pictures as I can't use flash inside.
Overall, the show was quite nice with funny jokes. Here is one of my favorite joke:
Mo Gu has quitted her job in her lover's pub and went to work for Crimson Spring. She's an experience higher class singer and can attract lots of customers or in other words, ham sap lou. So one of the dancer there said something like this: 蘑菇都来,这样以后甚么冬菇,金针菇都来啦?LOL..

They must have been practicing hard everyday. It's not easy to remember all the lines and act, sing and dance at the same time. However, it's a sad ending. =(

Luckily they have got english subtitles on the screen. If not, my friend here wouldn't understand a word of it. Fiona is from Mauritius, and is studying Biomedical science. She's so asian. She watches japanese animes and mangas, korean, taiwanese and hong kong dramas. @@
Some feedbacks on the show..

Fiona: I liked it. The show was totally worth it!

Min Dee: I liked the lightings. They were perfectly done (winks to Zhi Ying xD). But I don't like sometimes they sing until too high pitch.
Teck: The story was good.
After the show, Min Dee and Teck wanted to fetch me back because they didn't allow me to go back alone at night. While walking to Teck's apartment to get his car, we stopped by a desert shop called Brunetti in Lygon Street (I think).
The shop is very big. It's got the size of 3 shops combined together and it was full of people when we went there at around 10pm, even the tables outside were fully occupied. There were so many variety of desserts, from chocolates, puddings and cakes to pies and eclairs.
Cakes that make people want to buy them!!
One the streets in Carlton. On our way to get Teck's car.

Planned to go for grocery shopping the next day, but both of them volunteered to go shopping with me and asked me to buy more because a car always make things easier. So we dropped by at Safeway while on our way back to Bundoora.

First time shopping so late at night and the supermarket was so quiet. Just a random candid shot of them. Hehe. Unfortunately, I've forgotten their dialogues in this picture. Most of their conversations were very entertaining.

Ok, it's time to go to bed now. Chiaoz..
