Since Steph has left, I became the new owner of the tv in her room. Now I've got a tv in my room. =) Looks super old fashioned with only 4 local channels and one of it is even in black and white. @@"
This tv has a quite funny story behind it. One of my housemate, Khush, used to collect tv on the streets. She has collected 3 tv in total. Compare to my tv, the other 2 are very small in size. So she just carried them straight back home. However, this tv is bigger and heavier, which means it cannot be carried simply by hands and walk home. So here goes the story:
On one fine day, Khush was walking along the neighbouring streets and saw this tv on the roadside. There was a paper sticking on the tv saying: "working fine!". Ooo... The owner so good. Lol. It was during summer. Khush can't find anyone who can help her to fetch the tv back home as most of her friends went back to their hometown for holidays.
After a while, a lightbulb popped up on top of her head. She went to a nearby supermarket, took a trolley from there, went back and tried to pick up the tv. But she was still having problems picking up the tv and put it into the trolley all by herself.
Next minute, a guy passed by and saw her trying to carry the tv. Then, he rushed to her and said: "No no, put it down, young lady. I'll help you." After that, he carried the tv and put it into the trolley for her. LOL. She so lucky! In the end, filled with joy, she pushed the tv back home.
Lucky tv is still alive now. If not, maybe it's already got dismantled and turned into waste metals by now. xD
