A Day In The City

There are 3 out of 6 people in the house who are super free until the only thing they do is sitting in the room and grow mushroom. They are me, Pri and Jessie. Lol. Jessie will be going back to Vietnam in less than a week =( so she is in the process of crossing out the names on her places-to-see list.

Today's first destination: Cook's Cottage. It is located inside Fitzroy Garden. We looked just like tourists with the cameras hanging around us and a map in our hands. Lol. The map that Jessie got from those info people was really useful to find our way. The weather was cooling. Don't mind walking the extra mile even if we lost our way. Hehe.

There is also another garden beside called Treasure Garden. We were standing in front of the two garden's entrance, so took a picture of both.

Found the cottage! I know the name James Cook from sejarah textbook, but totally forgotten what he had done. Lol. Was he related to Sarawak or something? Aikss... Ooo, just noticed my own reflection.

Simple house and simple life. This is second floor. Like chinese saying: one eye sees all. Lol...

These flowers are so nice. Bell-like flowers with some bees and butterflies flying around.

After visiting the cottage, we walked around the garden. Quite similar to the Botanic Garden but lesser plant types. However, there are still some great sceneries and I can take nice pictures like this.

This is a zoom in version of the picture above. Notice below left corner of the picture above? A duck family is enjoying their family day beside the fountains. The ducklings are so super cutee!! =D

Today's second destination: St Kilda beach.

Finally arrived at the beach. Can see cute seagulls flying around!

The beach. Looks so much like Miami. Or just that I can't differentiate so all beaches look the same to me? The sea water isn't that blue anyway.

Saw some dogs enjoying their time running at the beach.

It was so super windy until we've got headache! No point taking pictures of our faces since our hair was flying everywhere. @@" So took pictures of these sporting people. How come they are not cold?

After the beach walking, we went to Brunetti for hot chocolate, but our main aim of going there was just to buy eclairs for another housemate. Hehe.

It was abit cold in the evening. Now I know why people here love to drink hot chocolate so much while I barely drink it in Malaysia eventhough I love chocolate. In Malaysia should only go for milo ice!! Hehe...

Tonight's dinner: beef curry don from Don Don. Famous for cheap take away. But I also don't prefer to dine in there anyway, because it is small and crowded.

Back home at 8pm and the sky is still so bright! Always have the psychological thinking that "oh, it's still early! Wait, it's 7pm already!?" Swt. Wonder how will the summer sky look like? Having supper time under a bright sky?
