Have been resisting the blogging temptation for 2 weeks. Now, I finally can pay a visit to my lonely blog for the first time in November and spend as long as I want here. =) Exams are over and I'm done for the year! Let's have a summary of what I ate during the boring study week and the exam period.
First up, black pepper udon! Cooked this for a reason. I was craving for hawker food terribly that time and this was the easiest thing to cook. Tasted like the black pepper udon that I used to eat at Pink during college days. Hehe. Dessert: seedless grapes. The grapes were so nice until I finished all of them in just one night.
This bowl of luncheon meat maccoroni can sustain my brain for 3 days. Quick and easy.
During Deepavali, my housemate, Pri, made gulajapmun. First time eating it. Not quite a fan of it. It only got the sweet taste by soaking it in syrup.
Another housemate, Alyaa, made honeyjoys. So me and Pri helped out a little. Everyone tends to become more active when the weather has warmed up. Hehe. Just found out that making honeyjoys isn't that hard.
Delicious honeyjoys!! They are made of cornflakes, almonds, honey and butter. She put the whole chunk of butter and managed to make 3 trays of them. =D
There's one day, me and 3 other housemates went to a Vietnamese restaurant called Pho Hung. The restaurant was fully packed at 6pm. I ordered special beef pho and I loved it so much! It was like the beef noodles that I used to eat in SS2 hawker stalls, just that this one came with hor fun. Look at the size of it. It was S size and yet I still couldn't finish it. Anyway, I still sucked the soup dry and left the remaining hor fun there. Haha. Okay, I know I looked horrible in the picture. Was working on those unfriendly physics questions before this. @@"
My Vietnamese housemate, Jessie, likes to make this. I didn't know what they are called in english and just learned that they are called prawn crackers. Lol..
Here is the total amount and all of us got some.
This is my latest update on my meal. Vietnamese instant noodles. Just pour hot water and it's ready to serve! xot bo ham = soup beef noodle. Lol. It was quite nice. Some new version of instant noodles to me. xD
Okay, the brain is full. Now it's time for the brain to go on vacation and relax. Hehe. 3 months of brain hibernation. Wahahaha...
