Hong Kong Day 3

Day 3, we started off with some dim sum to warm up our body.

We were going to visit the big Buddha at Ngong Ping. So we took the cable car up the mountains.

The cable car journey was quite long, about 20 minutes. Plus, some part of it were very steep and a bit scary. @@"
We finally arrived at the top and head for big Buddha by foot.

Along the way, there's got a lot of shops and things to see. So it's not just a boring walk.

Reached the bottom. Now let's climb the stairs!

Really exhausting, but getting closer...

At the top! :D

After the exercise, it's time for lunch. So hungry. Went to a fishing village at the bottom of the mountain by bus. The seafood was quite nice.

And here's my dessert. It's my first time eating a 'put chai gou' and I liked it. Lol.

My sis tried this. Forgotten what it's called. It's a bit messy to eat it and I could only taste the biscuit instead of the sticky thing in between.

Then, we left the fishing village by bus and back down the mountains by cable car.

As for dinner, we rushed for the highly rated claypot chicken rice shop in order to get a seat. They filled up within minutes after we arrived.

The oyster omelette was very crispy and tasty. We were thinking how to order it in cantonese, because we're used to its hokkien name, 'ho jian'. Then, only we know that it's 'hou jin' in cantonese. Hehe.

They only served plain rice with chicken in a claypot. As for the soya sauce, it's up to you to add the amount you want. I liked it to be very dark colour, so I added a lot. To us, it was nothing special about it. Just overrated. My mom can make much better claypot chicken rice.
