Happy Hosts

The people in the La Trobe International are so nice. They said it's the tradition to have a thank you lunch for the hosts. Another free lunch! Lol. Surprisingly it was like an asian lunch. They prepared rice and chinese dishes instead of hotdogs and sandwiches. :D

There were also some lucky draws and the prizes were quite nice. The grand prize was a free pass to Phillip Island and adopt a penguin! Not sure how that works but I know you can name the penguin. I want!!!!

My table has got 8 people and it was the luckiest table because 5 people from our table got the lucky draw prizes. Obviously, I was one of the 3 people. So sad!! I can't even get a La Trobe mug. :(

It's so nice of them that the staffs know every one of us. They can remember and pronounce my name! Haha. I didn't expect a cert too as there wasn't too much work to do and I actually wanted more. The International Welcome Festival was too short! Lol. Besides the cert, all of us got a complimentary award too and I got the 'Best Smile Award'. My reaction was like this --> @@". Can I have the 'Best Laugh Award'? That sounds nicer.

Anyway, I will definitely join again next semester. Wahahaha...
