The Esplanade, Altona

There were so many black swans around. Cool place to have a prac! We had to count the 3 different species of gastropods (snails) on the boulders.

We used chalk to draw the lines on the boulders. This is my groupmate counting the snails.

Most of them are very tiny snails.

And this is how much you can get on a boulder. Like the rock growing pimples. Lol.
It's been very very windy these few days until my friend can feel the car a bit unbalance while driving. Although it's super windy till I have to use more/less force while walking depending on the wind direction, it was a fun prac. Didn't fall into the water or get wet because of my handy gumboots. =D

Marine field trip is a lot more awesome than I expected. I want more field trips! Haha.
