Happy 2013 everyone! Though 2012 was not too bad with quite some exciting and memorable happenings, but it's time to say goodbye to 2012 and get ready for new challenges that are waiting ahead in 2013. In terms of getting ready, I am indeed doing some extra work during the summer holidays to prepare myself for my coming research project.
Apart from new challenges, I'm also excited about the brand new environment where I'm going to spend my Honours year, which is the brand new AgriBio building next to the uni. I like how it looks like a working place instead of classrooms for undergrad students like me.
I was surprised when my co-superviser showed me my desk as I haven't officially enroll yet. Well, the phone is not working yet as it's only my temporary desk I think, but I hope I can get this seat after they accommodate all the students because it's close to the window. Haha.
This is my lab working table and brand new and colourful pipettes with me being the very first one to use them. How awesome! Lol. Despite I have to share the table with another Honours student, but I'm happy enough to be able to use new apparatus.
I'm still finding my way around the building as I got lost a few times, and I find that I need to get lost to be able to really recognise and remember the way. Lol.
So that's my intro for 2013 and happy new year!
